Kingston Avid Anglers is all about enjoying our passion for bass fishing. We host 8 Angler-of-the-Year (AOY) tournaments — and you only have to fish in 4 to qualify for the AOY title.
To make it as easy as possible to take part, we use a solo format — you fish alone in the boat without a partner or co-angler. Entry fees are only $40 with 100% payback, two bonus big-fish prizes, and no tournament prepayment.
Although the format is better suited to anglers with some tournament experience, those new to competitive fishing are certainly welcome.

Every member and every tournament day is covered. We're a privately insured, privately operated club.
Club pays all launch fees
Show up and fish — the club covers tournament-day launch and ramp fees at every event.
100% payback + 2 big-fish prizes
Your full $40 entry goes back to the anglers, plus two bonus big-fish payouts every tournament.
Full-water weigh-in system
A complete catch-and-release weigh-in so the bass go back healthy — fish care comes first.
What you'll need
- A boat at least 14 ft. in length, with a working livewell and an attachable kill-switch.
- Club membership. AOY tournaments are open to club members only.
- The right window. Registration opens after the final event of the season and closes June 1st — we don't accept registration during the active season.

We'll confirm your boat meets the 14 ft. / livewell / kill-switch requirement and get your membership set up.
Pick your events
Choose which of the eight AOY tournaments you'll fish — remember, your best four count. Then we'll see you at the launch!
